Sustainable development, respect for the environment, to the environment are ever-increasing hallmarks of identity of the organisations in an increasingly demanding market. Whilst the growing awareness of the business sector as regards the environment, its respect, protection and preservation, has led to the obligation to meet increasingly stringent standards and regulations. In light of this, it is necessary to set Environmental Management Systems proposing to its unconditional implementation in the companies, which are part of the business objectives, and are not seen as an additional corporate cost.
Eiffage Métal understands that our behaviour towards the surroundings, on the environment, will determine whether or not future generations will be able to enjoy a healthier, more comfortable and most diverse and richer environment, and to that end, undertakes a corporate commitment to respect the environment without jeopardising its future.
In order to comply with this commitment, Eiffage Métal adheres to a strict monitoring, control and waste disposal procedure, as well as setting generated waste recycling processes, reusing certain products after undergoing waste treatment processes, thereby attaining the minimisation of waste which may be harmful to the environment.
Eiffage Métal regularly passes the stringent environmental controls stipulated by public administrations as regards pollutant emissions. In this regard, through a detailed maintenance plan which ensures that both the machinery as well as the facilities are not the source of contamination for the environment, thus minimising the waste generated.
Having specialist waste treatment plant personnel, who are trained for the optimal management of those plants, as well as for operations requiring swift action.
