Social responsibility & ethics

Eiffage Metal is highly committed to regulatory compliance, sustainable development, the health and safety of our employees, and respect for human rights.

To this end, we have implemented an Internal Irregularity Alert System that allows all employees, job applicants, former employees, or third parties with whom we maintain any type of business relationship and/or who are considered interested parties to report, confidentially and/or anonymously, alleged violations of our Code of Ethics, as well as the possible commission of irregularities in the areas and/or matters covered by our Internal Irregularity Alert System Management Procedure..

Social responsibility & ethics

Eiffage put in place an ethics and business conduct policy that applies to all its stakeholders, within the Group and beyond. The policy concerns in particular business ethics and Eiffage whistleblowing system, demonstrating respect for people, suppliers and sustainable development.

Business ethics and Eiffage whistleblowing system

Business ethics and compliance with regulations have been a major concern of Eiffage for many years.
In accordance with the Group’s values, the most important of which is exemplarity, and in a context of increasing national and European regulations on the fight against corruption and the duty of care, Eiffage has implemented a compliance system based on the following main tools:
• A Code of Conduct detailing the rules and conduct of business ethics,
• A training program for the most sensitive employees (e.g. managers, employees with direct commercial links with customers),
• A whistleblowing system enabling any Eiffage employee and all its stakeholders (such as its co-contractors, subcontractors and their respective staff) to report in a responsible manner, without financial compensation and in good faith:
1. serious breaches of the Code of conduct or values of Eiffage (e.g. corruption or influence peddling), human rights, the environment, or health and safety
2. information about a crime or offence, a breach or attempted breach of a national, European or international commitment
